Description
Entre Les Clos, Grenouilles et Vaudésir, le Grand Cru Valmur offre peut-être l’expression la puissante de son appellation. Le nez montre beaucoup de complexité aromatique porté sur des notes salines et iodées très affirmées. Joli bouquet floral avec des notes finement boisées. La bouche est très riche et diffuse un fruit exceptionnel. Voilà un Grand cru de Chablis très masculin qui ne déplaira pas aux amateurs de blancs vineux ! Gros potentiel de garde !

The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Valmur has a completely different bouquet compared to the Vaudésir, more floral perhaps, the wood contact a little more palpable vis-a-vis the Vaudésir. Allowing it time to open in the glass, there are scents of white chocolate and almond. The palate is very well balanced with a rounded texture, hints of acacia honey and ginger on the entry; it is spicier than the Vaudésir with a powerful and very well-delineated finish that lingers long in the mouth. It will benefit from 4-5 years in bottle, if you can resist.
