Description
Malgré un été de sécheresse, les pluies salutaires de septembre permettent une superbe maturation. Les vendanges débutent le 23 septembre et se terminent le 7 octobre. Assemblage assez équilibré entre le Cabernet-Sauvignon à 45% et 65% de Merlot plantés sur des sols de graves posés sur des sous-sol de calcaire et d’argile. Elevage en fût de chêne français d’un an renouvelé à 45% en bois neuf.
La robe rubis intense révèle un nez très ouvert sur les baies noirs, les épices douces et un boisé subtil. La bouche montre une belle concentration tout en dévoilant beaucoup de souplesse. Tannins souples et longueur plus qu’appréciable !

"The 2015 is showing what a great estate this is to get to know - there's a clarity to the black fruits but also a real tenderness to the tannins. Their slight quickening and tightening as you move through the palate adds to the overall feel of freshness. 45% new oak gives a soft caramel taste and gently smoked aroma, while the finish shows a soft persistency, nothing trying too hard here. I would give this another three or four years before thinking about opening. HVE certified since 2015, certain plots organic and biodynamic."
