Description
Avec un assemblage de 68% de Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% de Merlot, 2% de Cabernet Franc et 1% de Petit Verdot, ce millésime 2020 possède un beau potentiel d'une complexité incroyable. Les sols de graves garonnaises accueillent des vignes âgées de 35 ans. Les jus sont élevés pendant 18 mois en barriques, dont 50% en chêne neuf et 50% en chêne d'un an.
Pichon Longueville Comtesse Lalande 2020 présente une robe pourpre profonde. Fruits noirs avec des touches de cacao, de cèdre et de fumé noble. En bouche, ce millésime présente beaucoup de gras, avec une jolie acidité intense et mûre ainsi que des notes de myrtilles et de cassis, le tout lui conférant une incroyable palette d'arômes. Un très grand 2015 à Pauillac !

"An eternal wine, the 2010 Pichon Lalande is a total showstopper. The first impression is one of explosive power, but time in the glass brings out the wine’s more delicate, floral side. Violet, graphite, crème de cassis, licorice and menthol overtones recall the 1996, but the tannins here are much softer, sweeter and more polished. In two recent tastings, the 2010 has been positively stellar. The alternation of hot days and cool nights led to a late harvest. The Cabernet Sauvignon harvest did not start until October 7; by that date in 2009 all the fruit was in. Readers who can still find the 2010 should not hesitate, as it is a modern-day classic. That’s all there is to it."
