Description
Avec 18,7 hectares de vigne dans le cœur du terroir de Pomerol sur des sols de graves. L’encépagement se partage entre 97% de Merlot et 3% de Petit-Verdot. Le Château appartient aujourd’hui à la Famille Moueix. Pour la première fois, le Petit-Verdot rentre dans l’assemblage du grand vin.
Le nez est très intense et offre une aromatique de transition entre le primaire et le tertiaire. Framboise confite, chocolat noir à la menthe et sous-bois, cuir de Russie. La bouche puissante montre une superbe chair dans un écrin de velours. Un très grand Pomerol !
