Description
La cuvée Petite Sirah "Lytton Estate" 2018 est un assemblage de 97% de Petite Sirah complété par 3% de Zinfandel. Les plus vieux ceps de cette parcelle ont été plantés en 1901 mais c’est en 2002 que Ridge sort le premier millésime de cette cuvée. Fermentation en baies entières dans des fûts américains renouvelés à 15% en bois neuf pendant 15 mois.
Le 2018 Lytton Estate Petite Sirah nous offre une robe brillante et profonde dévoilant un nez puissant et profond autour du cuir, de la réglisse, la lavande et du mentholé. La bouche offre une belle concentration et une allonge formidable. Grande qualité de tanins et longueur superbe.

"Containing 3% Zinfandel, the 2018 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate has luscious aromas of cassis and blue fruits, turned earth, coffee and aniseed. The palate is full, concentrated and firm but offers great freshness and fruit detail in the mouth, and it finishes very long and layered. It’s approachable now if you love a big red, but it will also age well in the cellar."
