Description
Cette cuvée est réalisée sur les pentes de Graacher Himmelreich, un terroir extrêmement reconnu pour ses rieslings. Sans doute un des seuls Pinot Noir élaboré sur ce micro-climat.
D’une robe rubis très légère, ce superbe Pinot Noir offre un nez pimpant tout en fleur, tout en fruit. Violettes, petits fruits rouges et de poivre blanc dansent en harmonie. La bouche offre une vive attaque dans un demi-corps fin et fruité.

Salade d’épinards frais aux gésiers confits, vinaigrette de pinot aux pignons de pin.

"The 2017 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Mandelgraben * opens pure, fresh, oaky and tannic on the nose, if poured straight from the bottle at this early stage, but it announces a deep, intense and supple, full-bodied Pinot. My bottle needed a week and another 12 hours in the Burgundy glass to open up and reveal ripe red and dark berry as well as cherry aromas, which were then intertwined with spicy, toasty and yeasty sur lie notes. Full-bodied, intense and concentrated but also silky on the palate, this is a dense and juicy, tight, fresh and stringent Pinot that is still brittle and needs lots of time rather than a decanter. I have even consulted a second bottle, which I also tasted over a week, to decipher this 2017, which remains an elegant, intense, firmly structured and muscular, stringy Pinot rather than a charmer like the 2016. Since there is a silky, refreshing texture and also finesse on the finish, I assume this should be an excellent Pinot after a couple of years in the bottle. Tasted in May 2021."
